I haven't been doing a great job of keeping my blog up to date this year. But...if there's an album you wanna exchange to me that I do not have, feel free to ask me. I might have an album you like and will exchange that to you.

News Update!

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates recently. I've been really busy lately and I know how some of you love J-pop like I do, but I'll try to update my website with new albums once I have a lot of free time.

I can easily say that this is one of the best J-pop albums to start the year off from a guy group. The melodies are romantic and sound quite spectacular, and feature some R&B singers I love.

德永英明 - Vocalist 6 (iTunes Plus)

This guy has a nice jazzy voice. I used to call him "bird man" because of his strange-sounding voice. At first, I didn't like him because of that; nonetheless, I've gradually come to love his music!

I completely re-designed my website for easier navigation, so please refer to the photo below on how to navigate through the webpages. I like the new look and better accessibility to the pages. Before, everything was just a mess and I felt like I was repeatedly saying the same stuff over and over again.

GACKT - MOON SAGA 義経秘伝 I & II -PREMIUM SOUNDTRACKS- (iTunes Plus AAC M4A)

Here's a shocker: this GACKT MOON SAGA soundtrack costs ¥4000. That's right; but, there's 42 total songs. GACKT's fanbase is huge, and the soundtrack is all produced by them. It's mostly an instrumental album, but I love the Japanese vibes from the songs.

Mayu is the queen of AKB48 at the moment. She won 1st place in that Senbatsu competition where fans placed votes on their favorite member(s), but I really think the group's management purposefully wanted her to win.

Tomomi Kasai is a former AKB48 member. I love her high-pitched voice; it's heavenly and different from the typical J-pop idol voice.

Not yet - already 通常盤Type-A (iTunes Plus AAC M4A)

Type-A's cover is my favorite (it looks like they're having a party!) and Track 1 of Not yet's "already" album sounds super cool! It's got this nice upbeat disco vibe. Great track opener! The other songs are just as awesome as well.

Type-B's album cover looks weird compared to Type-A and Type-C; nonetheless, I still love Not yet! Yuko and Sashi are like the biggest faces of AKB48, but yes, there are other members that are just as popular or even more.

Not yet is a subunit of Japanese mega band AKB48. The only memorable faces I know that are in the group are Yuko Oshima and Rino Sashihara.
